What skills does it take to become a New York City Police Officer?
It takes dedication and commitment to become a successful Police Officer. You have begun your journey and have demonstrated those qualities by preparing for and taking the exam. The answer keys included here will allow you to check your answers to see how well you scored. Please make sure you are viewing the same page as the exam you tested for.
To pass the NYPD Police Officer Entrance Exam, you need to achieve a score of 70 or higher. If you get 60 or more correct questions (out of the 85 questions), you’ve passed our exam.
